Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities
Unsure of your passion? Many Reaud Honors College students discover their passions by asking themselves: Why did I choose my major? What do I want to learn more about? What can I examine, create and adapt creatively? What problem do I want to solve?
While providing a greater depth of understanding in students’ chosen fields of study, undergraduate research and creative activities equip Reaud Honors students with skill sets that empower them to solve real-world problems, investigate career paths, develop meaningful mentoring relationships and gain a competitive edge for industry and for postgraduate education. These skill sets include:

- Critical Thinking
Through its endowment, the Reaud Honors College helps remove financial constraints that stifle student curiosity so that creativity can flourish under research constraints that push students to answer important and interesting questions. The college provides opportunities for Reaud Honors College undergraduate student presentations by participating in:

- Year-Round: Office of Undergraduate Research (hosts Texas STEM and HASBSEB Conferences)
- Summer: David J. Beck and Ronald E. McNair programs

Honors conferences and undergraduate research conferences give Reaud Honors College presenters forums to engage with like-minded peers, researchers, academicians and other professionals who can help students cultivate and reach their goals. This social and intellectual exchange may spark and sustain honors students’ excitement about their passion projects for years to come.
In the collaborative spaces provided by the Reaud Honors College, the Office of Undergraduate Research and other important 91自拍论坛 partners, Reaud Honors College students can pursue their interests, gain new knowledge and challenge themselves within their academic disciplines. RHC students gain experience in looking at problems from different angles, working in teams and persevering through setbacks and obstacles.
