Travel

A passport is a travel document issued by a country’s government to its citizens that verifies the identity and nationality of the holder for the purpose of international travel. Since it can take up to 3 months to receive your passport after you apply, students are urged to apply now! 

If you do not hold a US passport, check the entry requirements to the location that you are interested in. You might need to obtain a visa. Feel free to make an appointment with the study abroad coordinator and we'll assist you in obtaining any required documents!

Health

Insurance
International travel insurance, through On Call International, is included in all 91自拍论坛 study abroad and student exchange programs. This includes a "Quarantine Benefit" that Texas State University System added to recoup expenses incurred due to unforeseen quarantine. Check out the Insurance Information page for more details on student coverage abroad.

COVID-19

Students are required to follow the entry requirements of the country they are traveling to. These entry requirements could change at any point. 

Prescription Medications

The CDC Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has prepared Your Survival Guide to Safe and Healthy Travel. "Every year more and more Americans are traveling internationally — for vacation, business, and volunteerism, and to visit friends and family.
