Welcome to the Department of Nutrition, Hospitality and Human Services (NHHS) where you can develop marketable skills in your career choice while engaging with dynamic and caring faculty and staff committed to your success. Students in our programs develop the competencies required for careers in nutrition, dietetics, hospitality, culinary, family studies, or family and consumer sciences certification.
Graduates emerge from their academic career and are prepared to transition into meaningful employment with a clear appreciation for lifelong learning, ethical standards, public engagement, and understanding the value of their respective field.
NHHS is characterized by professional disciplines bound by the common theme of rendering service to individuals, families, and communities, addressing fundamental human needs. We welcome students from other majors to gain an enhanced capacity to serve others.
The NHHS Building is located across from the Mary and John Gray Library.
