Faculty Affiliates of the Center for History and Culture of Southeast Texas and the Upper Gulf Coast at 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ consist of a multi-disciplinary group of scholars, artists, and educators whose specialties intersect with our mission to foster research, creativity, and education for our region. Faculty Affiliate status is open to all 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ faculty members in any discipline whose teaching, creative, and scholarly endeavors address any aspect of the histories and cultures of Southeast Texas and the greater Gulf regions.

• The Center provides information about funding and fellowship opportunities, including its own research support for faculty, students, and public scholars.

Opportunities

• Attend and encourage participation in Center programs.
• Provide periodic updates about publications, awards, and fellowships relevant to the Center’s mission.
• Serve on fellowship and award committees, moderate events, and/or serve as a mentor for the undergraduate and graduate researchers.
• Acknowledge the Center in conference papers and published work that received support from the Center.
