Awardees receive $500 in research funding and a one course (3.0 hours) release from teaching duties. Applications are accepted beginning in October with awardees announced in November. Awardees receive $5000 in salary funding for the summer semester. Applications are accepted beginning in February with awardees announced in March. See the link below to apply!
Applications for the 2025 Summer Research Fellowship will be accepted beginning January 2025!
Every faculty should fill out this form whether they have reassigned time or not. If that reassigned time is from an agreement with another entity or COAS, input how much time is reassigned (e.g. 3 credit hours, .25 FTE, 1 class, etc.) and attach that agreement. Subsequent requests after the first should include a list of accomplishments that were achieved because of previous reassigned time. Fall requests are due no later than May 1. Spring requests are due no later than Sep 1. Direct any questions to the COAS Business Manager.
Faculty and staff who will be missing assigned work time for either work-related (i.e. conference travel) or non-work related reasons should complete this form.
Faculty should complete this form for any students who they would like to assign a grade of "I." Requires approval of Instructor, Student, Department Chair, and Dean.
