LU’s online programs are especially popular for working adults and active duty military personnel. As part of the State of Texas Grad TX program, LU offers multiple flexible degree completion programs, including an accelerated online bachelor’s degree, designed to help students return to college and earn a bachelor's degree.
Younger students interested in earning college and high school credit at the same time also benefit from LU's online programs.
You can choose from a variety of courses offered through online/distance education, including the complete core curriculum and upper-level classes from almost every department. Several undergraduate and graduate degrees may be completed entirely through online/distance education.
Just like on-campus students, prospective online/distance education students must first apply for admission through the statewide Apply Texas system.
Students entering a bachelor’s degree program should also have official transcripts sent by all colleges or universities previously attended. Prospective graduate students should provide GRE scores and official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended.
Take advantage of accelerated online schedules with a variety of start dates in many degree programs.
You can pursue online courses offered in traditional 15-week semester sessions. These courses allow students to complete any of five bachelor's degree programs:
Two master’s degree programs are available in nursing and in health promotions.
We also offer a doctorate in education (Ed.D.) online.
High school juniors and seniors in Texas are able to earn college and high school credit simultaneously.
Application fees are waived, and payment plans are available.
