Procedure for Occupational Exposure to Blood and Body Fluids
Student Exposure
The Student Health Center (SHC) offers post-exposure care to 91自拍论坛 students during normal office hours (Monday thru Friday; 8am-5pm). Any exposures occurring after hours or on the weekends should be referred to the nearest medical facility for evaluation and treatment.
Prior to Beginning Work that May Lead to Exposure:
Familiarize yourself with basic first aid steps, and the location of any first aid supplies provided by your department.
Locate the nearest suitable medical facility for post-exposure treatment.
Immediately Following the Exposure:
Wash exposed area thoroughly with water for a minimum of 10-15 minutes.
Report exposure immediately to supervisor and 91自拍论坛 Police Department at (409) 880-7777.
If exposure occurs during office hours, escort the person to the Student Health Center for evaluation and treatment. If exposure occurs after hours or on the weekend, escort the student to the nearest medical facility for evaluation and treatment.
Non-Student Employee Exposure
91自拍论坛 employees must report all occupational exposures to Human Resources, Workers’ Compensation Claims Coordinator at (409) 880-7373 and follow the below directives.

Notify the Workers’ Compensation Claims Coordinator of the exposure immediately. The Workers’ Compensation Claims Coordinator is in Human Resources, and can be reached at (409) 880-7373.
Complete the “Supervisor’s Investigation of Employee’s Accident/Incident Form” and forward it to Workers’ Compensation Claims Coordinator in Human Resources as soon as possible, by the end of the business day, for submission to SORM.
After evaluation and treatment, the injured employee will report to the Workers’ Compensation Claims Coordinator in Human Resources for further instructions.
