Spindletop Museum to host Music and Wine Night

Enjoy Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum by relaxing with music and wine on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Music and Wine Nights are simply that –– music and drinks with friends both old and new. Bring your friends and hear great music. Admission is $10 per person for non-members and free for museum members. Money raised will go towards new renovation projects at the museum that include better landscaping, upkeep of the buildings and a new concrete walkway to the 1941 monument.

“This is a Music and Wine night you don’t want to miss. It’s going to be a great night,” said museum director Troy Gray.

Each participant will receive three tickets for drinks. Red and white wine and varieties of beer will be served along with water and soft drinks.

Grammy Award nominee Julien Primeaux will provide the music. As a fourth-generation musician, Primeaux has been groomed from a young age to perform with his passion for playing guitar starting when he was 8 and, by age 12, Julian was performing live on a regular basis. Ever since, he has sang and played everywhere from clubs in Louisiana and Times Square in New York to concert halls and festivals all over Europe. In 2009, he released his first solo album “Flowers from My Bones” followed by “Rock ‘n Roll Boy” in 2011 and his third album, “This Guilded, Swaying Heart” in 2016. In 2021, Primeaux officially became a Grammy nominated musician for playing guitar on Corey Ledet's Grammy nominated album.
