STEP 1 - Submit the Initial Invitation
Please submit your request at least thirty (30) days in advance of your event. For requests less than thirty (30) days in advance, please contact the Office of the President at officeofthepresident@lamar.edu or 409-880-8405.
Please provide as much event information as possible. Incomplete requests may delay confirmation of the President’s attendance and participation.

STEP 2 - Receive Confirmation and Further Instructions
The Office of the President will notify you about the status of your request within ten (10) days of your submission.
If it is possible for President Taylor to attend your event, you will receive confirmation and further instructions on submitting an Event Information Form. This information is due back to the Office of the President no later than ten (10) business days prior to the event date.
Please advise the Office of the President immediately if there are any changes from your original request (i.e. date, start/end time, venue, etc.). Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate changes to your request.
