The Parking Advisory Committee is the eyes and ears for all things regarding parking lots and parking on campus. Committee will be providing recommendations for improvement of parking on campus. Committee will be making decisions on parking violations and policy.

NEW BUSINESS
- Repairs & Maintenance
- Currently have 9 work orders pending. Committee was informed that quotes from vendor have been obtained, waiting for vender to submit insurance to purchasing.
- Update on parking lot closures and gate repairs. K Miller said that E-1 construction should be finished by start of fall semester.
- No citation appeals for June.
- 2024 permits for sale in person or via email request. Online availability will be August 1.
- Online parking lot reservation system now up. Campus announcement to be issued next week and at start of semester.
- Extra ticket writers being ordered in anticipation of LUPD CSO hires.
ISSUES RAISED
R Buckingham relayed concerns from the Staff Council about F-3 lot. Reserved parking is being filled up with student vehicles. An action item will be sent out to LUPD CSOs to monitor that lot closely.
OLD BUSINESS
- Parking Management Software:
- AIMS and Banner ticket closed with IT department. All synchronization issues have been resolved.
- Permit issuance and ticket writing going well.
- Cannot update due to network issue. Numbers will be sent out when available.
- Next meeting will be October 12, 2023 via TEAMS
