Minutes for CID Agenda November 20, 2019.  Reaud 202 3:30 pm

CID Attendees: Liv Haselbach, Jeremy Alm, T.C. Ho, Brian Shook, Randall Terry, Dan Chilek, Diane Clark, Vic Zaloom, James Slaydon, Kakoli Bandyopadhyay, Mark Mengerink, Monica Harn

  1. Discussion with Dr. Evans, Dr. Marquart, Dr. Brenda Nichols, and Dr. John Bello-Ogunu, Sr. These items will be reviewed and updated at the January meeting.
    1. They are making improvements to the study abroad procedures and Dr Bello-Oguno will meet with Natalie Tindall and Diane Cook prior to the next CID meeting to discuss items.
    2. The summer class budgets will be sent to the Deans soon and before the end of the year the summer small class criteria will be set.
  • Information on online student enrollments in number of classes for Fall 2018 and 2019 was provided by Dr. Nichols.
  1. They are working on increased visibility and involvement of the CID at the University for several communities. Some assignments are already set and others are in the works.
  2. Blackboard for the spring is already available. Links to syllabi will be provided by Dr. Nichols.
  3. The research office has hired Dr. Lin and has an ad out for another staff position.
  • Proctorio advice will be provided by Dr. Nichols in a short memo to aid faculty.
