The Dishman Art Museum: Russian ART / Soviet DESIGN Exhibit
The concept behind this exhibition is to contrast two periods of 20th century Russian art, Russian Imperial art, including the white diaspora, with the advent of the Soviet regime after the October Revolution and the assassination of Tsar Nicholas II and his family. There will be vendors selling crafts, arts, clothes and many other items. Door prizes, food, kids activities, plant sale. Indoors and free admission.
Girls’ Haven Gumbo Drive-Thru at 3380 Fannin St. from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Girls' Haven will be having their 26th Annual Gumbo Festival! You will have the option of choosing fresh or frozen chicken and sausage gumbo. Each meal will come with rice and crackers and is $15 a quart.
